San Antonio Reagan Rattlers pictured #12 Christeen Iwuala C/F JR, #22 Breck Bormet G/F SR, #11 Samantha Wagner Wing Soph, #3 Kelsie Hawkins PG JR were joined by #44 Miranda Noach G/F JR (not pictured) as the starting five. Since 2002 the Lady Rattlers have been contenders with these returning starters from last season's District Championship and Regional Quarter Finals rolled into Westlake at 4-1. Lady Chaps started with Peyton Freiermuth G Soph #0, LaQuayla Chambers-Wells G SR #1, Gianna Angiolet G Fresh #3, Syona Mandyam F Soph #10 and Gwen Gilmore C SR #24. The Rattlers jumped out early and never trailed powered by strong rebounding especially Iwuala, all around play by Wagner. They executed a motion offense, strong passing and a team defense that strongly contested every shot. The Lady Chaps down by ten early 5-15 end of Q1, 12-25 at the half, 24-42 end of Q3 but fought hard and showed good stamina cutting the lead to 13 before ending at 39-57
