Westlake 53 Vista Ridge 38

Texas 6A Girl's High School Basketball-Burger Gym-Tuesday evening February 17th 2026. Vista Ridge, second in their district matched up for the Bi-District Championship with Westlake-first in their district and 35-0 overall. Back on November 21st 2025, visting Westlake captured a 55-38 win in Cedar Park. Tonight's game by final score seems similar, 53-38, but scoring by Quarter suggests a closer game early on. It was a slow start initially for both teams but then Westlake found their footing for a 17-8 first quarter run. After that, Westlake confronted a more physical and slow game by Vista Ridge. Vista paired that with some hot shooting to dominate 12-4. Westlake led 21-20 at the intermission. After the break, Westlake put on a 20-8 run sparked, in part, by three 3 pointers swished by #14 Peyton Hensle. Westake led 41-28 after three quarters, closed the fourth quarter 12-10 for the 53-38 win. Westlake now, 36-0, moves on to the Area Championship. Above #15 Tamia King controls the tip.
