Around Los Angeles-UCLA Franklin D. Murphy Sculpture Garden. Nearly 3 PM Thursday April 16th 2026. Students study and relax in the five acre garden containing 70 works. See hammer.ucla.edu for detail and to even schedule a tour. Prominent in West Los Angeles are the violet-flower Jacaranda tree, "Blue Jacaranda, Black Poul or Jacaranda mimosifolia" a native of South America is "sought after due to its ornamental value."
