Around Austin-Sturgeon Moon as viewed from the RM2244 area. According to "The Old Farmer's Almanac," "Algonquin tribes that lived in the northeastern U.S. called the full moon of August the Sturgeon moon after the large fish that were more easily caught that same time of the year in the Great Lakes."
