Texas 6A Region IV High School Baseball Semifinal at Westlake Thursday May 15th 2025. At the end of regulation Phar San Juan Texas Alamo and Westlake were tied at 1. The line was PSJA 1 Run, 3 Hits, 2 Errors and Westlake 1 Run, 4 Hits, 1 Error. PSJA scored first in the top of the 4th inning on a 3 and 2 pitch with one out. The towering homer over the left field fence was by PSJA's offensive leader Jacob Delgadillo (#9, 2025 BA 0.533). In the bottom of the 5th inning Holland Page (#7) with a sacrifice fly brought in #2 Luke Nogalski to tie the game. Parker Saltsman (#23) gave up one run though 7 innings but came out in the top of the 8th inning after PSJA scored the go-ahead and winning run. #18 Left hander Rylan Middlebrook came in and held PSJA to just another run. In the bottom of the eight with one out Jesse Garza (#10, 7-0 on the season with a 0.83 ERA) gave way to relief. The Chaps failed to score and the game ended on the line of PSJA 3/6/2 and Westlake 1/4/1. Both teams travel today with a must win game for Westlake at San Juan Saturday.
