Longhorns 87 Bulldogs 67


College Basketball-Moody Center-Austin Texas-Saturday afternoon January 24th 2026. The visiting Georgia Bulldogs, 16-3 and 4-2 in the SEC, entered the game leading the nation in total scoring, fast break points, and blocked shots. Texas 11-8 and 2-4 in the SEC looked overmatched in a choppy first half but notably for Texas they eliminated Georgia's fast break game. After the first half, the key game stats were similar with Georgia leading 37-30. Georgia's advantage was making nine free throws on twelve attempts while Texas made one free throw on two attempts. Texas Coach Sean Miller predictably made half time adjustments that helped Texas outscore Georgia 57-30 in the second half. #3 Dailyn Swain, Texas' 6'8" G/F led all scorers with 26 points on 12 for 16 shooting. #12 Tramon Mark Texas' 6'5" G had 23 points, #0 Jordan Pope, 6'1" G and #8 Matas Vokietaitis, 7' C each had 14 points.
