Lake Travis Rising

Around Austin-Wednesday July 16th 2025, Lake Travis as viewed from the Oasis is nearly full, just 7.69 feet from "flood pool." All this from the accumulation on the existing 44.5% level a month ago brought by the slow-moving tropical storms the area experienced in July. Upstream Lake Buchanan is full and spilling water via the flood gates eventually to reach Lake Travis which is now recorded as 86.8% full. One year ago it was 40.4% full, 44.5% a month ago, 67.4% a week ago, and 77.3% two days ago. [Data from waterdatafortexas.org]. More images below.
