Texas High School Basketball-#1 Gavin Paull drops one of eight "threes" in his 31 point effort to carry Westlake over viisiting Lake Travis but it was not enough as the Chaps fell for the second year in a row on their home court to Lake Travis. Play was fast and furious at the outset with LT being faster and more effective than Westlake. Westlake was outscored by four in each of the first and second quarter but bounced back by outscoring LT by two in the third quarter pulling even with 3:18 remaining and leading by one momentaritly. Westalke couldn't sustain the quick turn around, fueled by an incredible streak by Paull and better play on the offensive boards by the frontline, and trailed LT 37-43 at the end of Q3. LT evpanded the lead to 11 with 3:23 remaining 44-55 and dominated the rest of the game. Score by Quarter 10-14, 20-28, 37-43, 56-68.
