RM2244.COM traveled the inspiring backroads of Asheville and up the paver-base-rock Witch Hazel Way to Hughes Guitars, https://www.hughesguitarsandrepair.com Originally, we planned our trek for 2025 but the September 27, 2024 hurricane Helene flooded the French Broad River and created tree falls up in the mountains damaging the Hughes shop as well. So, it was great finally meeting up with Randy and his son Will. Through some miscommunication on our part, they were surprised to find us walking through their door, 0800 Monday morning, but nonetheless they gave us a real guitar player's welcome explaining all about their history and current guitar-making.
