Around Austin-Construction of H-E-B Lake Austin seems closer to completion. The image above is at West 7th and Newman Drive. As noted in September 2019 (www.heb.com/lakeaustin), the store was targeted for completion in Fall 2022. The two-story H-E-B will feature 110,000 sqft, a second story porch on Lake Austin Blvd, a BBQ with indoor and outdoor seating and a full bar. There will be a fun plaza intended to facilitate community gathering. Underground parking will ensure a congestion-free ground level on Lake Austin Blvd, West 7th Street, Newman Drive and West 8th Street.
