Around Austin-Crossroads Guitar Festival-Moody Center, Sunday September 27th 2026. Eric Clapton, with his touring band, opened the concluding set with "Badge." With his Stratocaster in hand, Eric gave an intentional pause before hitting what is an iconic lick in this Eric Clapton/George Harrison tune from 1969. He didn't call for it but the audience was singing along. He later sat down with his signature Martin delighting with an acoustic version of "Layla" infused too with nuanced solos by his bandmates.
