Early Bloom Texas Prickly Pear

Around Austin-The relatively dry and warm early Spring has induced blooming of Texas Prickly Pears on the hill below Addie Roy Road and just north of Texas RM2244. Above a closeup shows a nearly a dozen bees working this one flower. Monday April 13th 2026. See more snapshots below.
