Drew Brees' Westlake Football Jersey Retired

Texas High School Football-Drew Brees' Westlake Chaparral Football Jersey #15 was retired Friday Night October 24th 2025 before the homecoming game against visiting Lake Travis. Brees led Westlake to their first ever Texas state championship in 1996. Drew went on to Purdue 1997-2000, was a two time Heisman candidate and the Big 10 MVP in 2000. He was drafted in the second round by the San Diego Chargers 2001-2005 but is most famous for leading, as the Super Bowl MVP, the New Orleans Saints to the 2010 Super Bowl XLIV Championship 31-17 over the Indianapolis Colts.
