Music and Substance Abuse Treatment-The Crossroads Festival was held over last weekend in Los Angeles with 20,000 in attendance and countless others streaming the event online at nuggs.net . The Crossroads Center in Antigua crossroadsantigua.org , by Eric Clapton's brief mention is small, uses a traditional 12-Step process and has kept him sober for 35 years. With the Antigua Airport closed during COVID, the center was shuttered and needed a cash infusion to resume thereafter. So at a board meeting Eric said "we can do another Crossroads Festival." And so began a two-year process of recruiting and organizing to bring the event to fruition. Above is Eric, joined by Stevie Wonder Sunday night for a cover of the Robert Johnson tune, "Crossroads."
