A study published in PNAS (Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences) suggest those blessed with being extroverted or able to be extroverted were the most successful in the corporate world. “…only extraversion predicted an inclination to help coworkers or build alliances with influential people.” “the authors speculated, any power boost disagreeable people gain from being dominant may be cancelled out by their antisocial actions.”
