7703 RM 2244-New Site for FD 903

Around Texas RM 2244-For a year or more, rumors circulated that a Fire Station would be constructed within the old "One World Theatre" site on Texas RM 2244. Recent activity suggested something was coming to fruition. This last week the sign below has been posted. So far, there's no obvious update at the Westlake Fire Department's website at https://www.westlakefd.org According to Google AI, the Westlake Fire Department serves Texas RM 2244 from three sites: Station 901 (1109 Westlake Drive), Station 902 (1295 S. Capital of Texas Hwy) and Station 903 (414 St. Stephens School Road). Presumably, the St. Stephens School Road location will ultimately be substituted for the new site at 7703 Texas RM 2244. Based on the construction skirting, the station structure will be located on the right side possibly with a driveway running along the left side providing two access points on RM2244. Notably, a traffic signal already exists at RM 2244 and Weston Lane.
